the colour room and a scrumptious funky flower...

"the color room"... palette #5

"spring"

out for publication

...here's my take on this week color palette... yummy don 't YAY think... mainly using American Craft and Prima products... plus some yummies from "the chip chop shop" - crepe paper rosette and spottie button... so come on over and play along this week...

... now onto that scrumptious funky flower...
we will call it "mothers day bloom"... since it's mothers day this sunday...

step 1: 6 felt circles 4 fabric circles and grab a dyed doily and a button. My circles measures 3 inches round.

step 2: Use 4 felt and 4 fabric circles and sandwich them. The other 2 are your base.

step 3: Now fold each one in 1/2 and 1/2 again so you have a 1/4 - Stitch each 1/4 to one of the base circles. It should look like this. (below)

step 4: Place the doily and a button on the top and stitch. Turn over and grab the other circle base.

step 5: Blanket stitch the 2 base's together...

and there you have it... a scrumptious funky flower for you to play with...

...happy crafting peoples and happy mothers day to you all... and thanks for popping by...

PS ... if you don't have any dyed doilies then you need to check out my shop... i have plenty for sale...
